What is source code?
Source Code is the actual brain working behind a software. Software Programmers create any software by writing a specific code with intentional targetted results.
It is a editable version of prgramming where programmer can edit, modify and make any changes to his product according to his requirments. Once first phase of writing is completed, then it is compiled and converted into EXE file format which is an end product.
EXE file of any software cannot be edited, modified or changed in any form by anyone whatsoever.
When software prgramming is completed and a end product is available to use, actual code is known only to his creator i.e. the programmer who designed that particular software.
What is Source Code Recovery?
Source Code Recovery is nothing but a reverse engineering. It is a process where end product is reversed back to original scritping phase.
Once source code is recovered of any software then that software is again available for editing and modifying the end resutls.
Who needs to recover source code?
Today in corporate world, every company determines to become unique and is willing to serve the market with specilised services. In such scenario, almost all the companies need specialised softwares according to their specific needs, and hire software programmers for that purpose only. But if programmer leaves a job without submitting a source code of his program, then employer needs to do source code recovery if he wishes to modify current version of any software.
